Board of Directors

Jason is a PHTA Certified Service Professional, who is the owner of A-1 Pools of West Bend, WI, and joined the Midwest PHTA Chapter in 2008 as a member of our Board of Directors. Along with his service as a current member of our Board of Directors, Jason has served for many years in various chapter positions, most notably as past Chapter President. A-1 Pools has a retail store in West Bend, WI, and offers award winning, year round award pool and spa services.

Dan is an PHTA Certified Building Professional, PHTA Certified Service Professional as well as a PHTA Certified Trainer.  He is the Vice President of All Seasons Pools, Spas and Outdoor Living in Orland Park, IL and joined the Midwest PHTA Chapter in 2014 as a director on the board. Along with being our Chapter's current President, Dan has served as past Vice President, and currently also serves on our Design Awards, Social Media and Website Committees. All Seasons Pools, Spas and Outdoor Living has been named one of the Top 50 Builders, Top 50 Service Companies, and one of the Top 100 Retail Stores in the country. All Seasons has a retail store in Orland Park, IL and offers award winning in ground shotcrete, fiberglass and vinyl lined swimming pool design and construction, as well as year round award winning in ground pool and spa services throughout Southwest Chicagoland.

David is the second-generation owner of Swimming Pool Services and has been designing and building inground pools in Southeast WI since 1994. In 2002, David received his Certified Service Technician Designation (CSP), and in 2006 he received his Certified Building Professional Designation (CBP). David has served PHTA Midwest Chapter since 2003 holding various board positions and has also instructed several PHTA certification courses. David is currently serving on the PHTA Builders council as well as the Midwest Chapter Design awards committee.Swimming Pool Services allows clients to have a personal resort in their backyard by making it easy for them to enjoy the benefits of having a pool or spa at their home. Our award-winning team will help you with all aspects from design and construction, to year-round maintenance for your pool or spa.

Mallory is the Retail Operations Manager of award winning retailer and builder DesRochers Backyard Pools and Spas. She oversees operations of their three retail locations in the Chicagoland area. She has worked for DesRochers Backyard Pools and Spas since 2006. Mallory is also currently serving as co-chair of the Midwest WAVE young professional network and serves on the PHTA National Retail Council. Mallory was awarded PHTA Young Professional of the Year in 2018 on the national level.

Matt is a PHTA Certified Building Professional (CBP) and is the owner of Penguin Pool. He joined the Midwest PHTA Chapter in 2014 as a director on the board. Along with being the Secretary, Matt also works on the Design Awards and Website committee. Penguin Pools offers inground vinyl liner & figerglass inground swimming pools throughout SE WI; along with full service and weekly maintenance.

Mike is a PHTA Certified Service Professional, Certified Building Professional, Certified Hot Tub Technician and Certified Pool and Spa Operator who is the owner of Pool Pros in Green Bay, WI, and joined the Midwest PHTA Chapter in 20019 as a member of our Board of Directors. Pool Pros specializes in Award Winning Fiberglass Swimming Pool & Spa Design, Construction, and service throughout Northeast WI.

Nadine is Retail Division Manager at Arvidson Pools and Spas. She joined the Midwest PHTA Chapter in 2017 as a member of our Board of Directors. Arvidson Pools and Spas has Illinois retail locations in Crystal Lake, Palatine and St. Charles. They build shotcrete and vinyl lined in ground pools and have a full, year round service department.

Phil joined our Midwest Chapter Board in 2012, and is the Branch Manager at Aqua-Gon in New Berlin, WI and Hot Tub Brand Manager for Aqua-Gon. Phil also serves on our Communications and PR committee. Aqua-gon is a Midwest wholesale distributor to the swimming pool and spa industry with locations in Naperville IL, New Berlin WI, Maryland Heights MO, and St. Michael MN.

Rene is the President of Patio Pleasures Pools and Spas. At a very young age, Rene always knew she wanted to be a business owner. In 2006 Rene was able to bring her skills of many years of sales and marketing experience, entrepreneur mindset and vision to Patio Pleasures. She is very passionate about the pool spa industry and has been part of the development of key marketing campaigns that promote the pool spa lifestyle. She has also been part of designing new showrooms for Patio Pleasures two retail locations bringing an entirely new experience to retail shoppers.
